Alarm User Permit

Pursuant to Chapter 50 of the Mamaroneck Town Code, owners of premises equipped with an alarm device are required to obtain an Alarm User Permit and pay an annual $30 permit fee. Permits are valid for a calendar year beginning January 1, and all applications made after November 1st of each year are valid through the following year.

To apply please use our online Alarm User Permit application form. Once your application is received, and Town residency is verified, you will receive a confirmation email with a link to pay for your permit online (please note applications are received Mon-Fri and may take 48 hours for review).

Annually, you will receive a bill for a $30 Alarm User Permit Renewal fee. To pay your Annual Alarm User Permit Renewal please use our online payment system.

Additionally, false alarm activations are charged when the Police Department responds, in each calendar year, as follows:
