The Larchmont Reservoir is a 60-acre (12.76 acres within the Town) wildlife sanctuary and nature study area with lakeside trails and quiet woodland paths. The Mamaroneck Environmental Resource Center, located adjacent to the Reservoir, houses the
Sheldrake Environmental Center and the Monroe summer camp. The Sheldrake Environmental Center offers nature programs for adults and children throughout the year.
The entrances to the Reservoir are located at 687 Weaver Street (park next to the tool shed), Sheldrake Lane (a gravel parking area across from Bonnie Briar Country Club), the Pine Brook Tennis Courts (on Pine Brook Boulevard), and Dennis Drive (off of Quaker Ridge Road).
